Information About Sitri

Sitri is a powerful demon who appears as a great prince with the head of a leopard and the wings of a gryphon. According to the Lesser Key of Solomon and Johann Weyer’s “Pseudomonarchia Daemonum,” Sitri has the ability to take on a beautiful human shape upon command and inflame men with women’s love and women with men’s love. He governs 60 or 70 legions of spirits, depending on the source.

In addition to these texts, Collin de Plancy’s “Dictionnaire Infernal” mentions Sitri as the great prince of the underworld, igniting passions. Michael Ford’s “Luciferian Goetia” describes Sitri as a Babalon-Lilith-type being who specializes in lust and desire. According to Ford, one can use Sitri to create succubi/incubi by forming them nude in a desired shape and binding this spirit to the sigil of Sitri. This spell can be sent forth in one’s dreams or the chosen target’s dreams.

Despite the different interpretations of Sitri, his abilities to incite passion and desire remain consistent.
