Lesson 30 of 306 min

Your certificate and where to go next

You made it. Thirty lessons, 78 cards, a handful of spreads and a whole new way of looking at pictures. Whether you raced through in a week or took three months, I am truly glad you walked this path. Take a breath and notice how far you have come.

Your certificate

When you have marked every lesson as done, you can open your certificate of completion and add the name you would like on it. Because your progress lives only in your own browser, the certificate is made on your device too. Nothing is sent to me, and no account is needed.

The certificate is a small celebration, not a professional qualification. Tarot has no official license, and nobody needs a certificate to read. But finishing something matters, and it is worth marking. Remember the World card: celebration is part of the work.

What you can do now

Look back at where you started. You can now:

  • name all 22 Major Arcana and place them on the Fool’s Journey,
  • read any Minor card from its suit and number,
  • understand the court cards as people, parts of you or approaches,
  • lay out spreads from one card to the Celtic Cross,
  • ask good open questions,
  • read hard cards calmly,
  • read for yourself and others with consent and care.

That is a real foundation.

Where to go next

Keep the daily card. It is the one habit that keeps everything alive. A card in the morning and a line in your journal will keep teaching you for years.

Go deeper into each card. The card meaning pages on this site go into history, symbols, love and work readings, affirmations and spreads for every card. Start with the Majors, and revisit cards that still feel unclear.

Explore the rest of the tarot section. The tarot hub collects everything I write about tarot, from history to spreads.

Read my book. The Novice’s Guide to Tarot has an entry for every one of the 78 cards with keywords, reversed meanings, examples and affirmations, plus all the spreads from this course in one place.

Try another path. If you are curious about witchcraft, runes or the history of magic, the School lists the free courses, and Start here helps you choose.

Stay in touch. The free Mini-Grimoire and my newsletter bring new lessons and spreads to your inbox.

One last thing

You are allowed to be a novice for a long time. Every experienced reader still meets cards that surprise them. The point was never to know everything. The point was to begin, and you have. Thank you for learning with me.

Try this

Today’s exercise: Write a short note to yourself: three things you can do now that you could not do when you started. Keep it short. Two or three lines in your notebook are enough, and there are no wrong answers. If you like, come back to the page tomorrow and add one more line about anything you noticed in the meantime. Small, regular notes like these are how the cards slowly become familiar.

Quick recap

  • Open your certificate once every lesson is marked done.
  • The certificate is created on your own device.
  • Keep the daily card and your journal.
  • Go deeper with the card pages, the book and other free courses.

Keep going

This is the last lesson. Thank you for walking the whole course with me.

If you want every card and spread in one place, my book The Novice’s Guide to Tarot is the natural next step.
