About School

Welcome to the School. Every course here is free, written by me, and made for complete beginners. You can start right now, without signing up for anything.

How it works

  • Free, always. No payment, no trial, no upsell inside the lessons.
  • No account. You do not need to sign up or log in. Just open a lesson and read.
  • Your progress stays on your device. When you mark a lesson as done, your browser remembers it. Nothing is sent to me.
  • At your own pace. Most lessons take 10 to 20 minutes. Do one a day, one a week, or three on a rainy Sunday.
  • A certificate at the end. Finish every lesson in a course and you can print a personal certificate of completion.

Where I have a published book on the same subject, the course links to it for more depth. But you never need a book to finish a course.

The catalog

  • Tarot for Beginners: 30 lessons in nine short modules, from how a deck is built to your first full readings. Start lesson one.
  • Witchcraft for Beginners: 7 lessons: history, intention and grounding, altar and elements, herbs and kitchen safety, the moon and the Wheel of the Year, spellcraft and protection, ethics and your book of shadows.
  • Art History for Beginners: 7 lessons on how to look at art and what images meant, from cave paintings to modern art and the spiritual. Every period has its own page on the art movements timeline.
  • Demons for Beginners: 7 lessons, study only: what a demon is, the ancient world, Solomon and the grimoires, Weyer, Scot and the 1904 Goetia, how to read a spirit entry, safety and modern approaches. No evocation lessons.
  • Hekate for Beginners: 7 lessons on the goddess of crossroads and torches, from ancient Greece to a simple, respectful modern shrine.
  • Lilith for Beginners: 7 lessons on Lilith’s real history, from Mesopotamian demons and Isaiah to the Kabbalah, art, feminism and the stars.
  • Lucifer for Beginners: 7 lessons on the morning star, Isaiah 14, Milton, modern Luciferianism and Lucifer as a symbol, with honest notes on safety and mental health.

How a lesson works

Every lesson follows the same simple shape, so you always know what to expect. It opens with a short explanation, usually with a card or an image to look at. Then comes one small exercise you can do at your desk or kitchen table, often with a notebook. Most lessons end with a short quiz of two or three questions, just for you: nobody sees your answers. At the bottom, a “Go deeper” link points to the matching chapter of my book or a longer guide on this site, if you want more.

Learning paths

Not sure where to begin? Here are four paths.

  • The curious beginner: Tarot for Beginners, then Witchcraft for Beginners. Start with Start here if you have not yet.
  • The history lover: Art History for Beginners, then Demons for Beginners.
  • The goddess and spirit path: Hekate for Beginners, then Lilith for Beginners, then Lucifer for Beginners.
  • The busy witch: one tarot lesson a week, alongside my 5-minute practices.

My learning

Your progress lives in your browser. Each course page shows which lessons you have finished and how far you are. If you change device or clear your browser data, the progress resets, and you can simply continue from the lesson you remember.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need an account?

No. There is no sign-up and no login. Your progress is saved in your own browser, on your own device.

Are the courses really free?

Yes, every course is free, and will stay free. You never need to buy anything to finish a course.

What happens if I clear my browser?

Your saved progress is deleted with it. You can simply pick up from the lesson you remember. If you use more than one device, each keeps its own progress.

Is the certificate official?

No. It is a personal certificate of completion that you can print and keep. It is not a qualification or a license to practice.
